If you're using IE as your browser then you need to go into tools, optins and uncheck play animations. Better still use Firefox as your browser, that gets rid of the lot. |

There was a thread giving ideas about how to get rid of them on here yesterday. I'll see if I can find it and nudge it up for you. It's titled 'Bingo'. Kath. x |

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of the annoying adverts that appear while I am on this site? I have never had them before but have recently installed a McAfee security trial and although it is set to filter them out, I am still getting them. Any ideas???? Jill UPDATE 28/11/06 Thanks for the replies. Tried them both (except the firefox) but they have not worked. It is not pop ups I am having problems with but the adverts within the pages. I keep getting a photo of a really sad looking dog and I just cant stay on the site when it is there. Any more suggestions????? I will contact genes and see what they say. Thanks Jill |
