There is a lot of immigration help, not the passenger lists but all sorts of tips on researching immigrant ancestors on the BBC website. http://www.bbc(.)co(.)uk/history/familyhistory/next_steps/ (remember to remove brackets) Hope this helps, Helen

I have now exhausted the free records on Ancestry and I can find no trace of my Ashton ancestors travelling to America some time after they married on 19th June 1883 :-( Now I know that they had a child in New Jersey on 31st January 1889 and that they were back in England and show on the 1891 Census. So are there any passenger records ANYWHERE for travel to England within that time frame?? TIA......................... Bacardi X
