Just seen this on E-Bay: Item number: 300051753612 FAMILY HOLY BIBLE c. 1850 LEATHER BOUND THIS BEAUTIFUL BIBLE FEATURES THE FAMILY LASSEY & COLLINS, HUDDERSFIELD. IT HAS REGISTER OF BIRTHS DEATHS & MARRIAGES (ST. PATRICKS CATHOLIC CHURCH HUDDERSFIELD) LISTED FORM THE EARLY 18OO'S. NOT ONLY IS IT ILLUSTRATED IN COLOUR AND B&W PICTURES, IT HAS USEFUL NOTES. THIS LOVELY BIBLE IS VERY AGED AND THE COVER IS BROKEN. THE BRASS CLASPS ARE MISSING, BUT FIXTURES PRESENT. THE EXTERNAL BINDING IS BROKEN. HOWEVER, THE INTERNAL BINDING & PAGES ARE GENERALLY IN GOOD CONDITION |
