Hi i am trying to find the origin of this name Ulfchill De Swyneburn.I do know the swyneburn comes from the a little place in Northumberland Swine(pigs)Burn(stream).I would like to find out if Ulfchill is a Anglosaxon name or a Norman name.Any advice would be really appreciated !!.thank you jayne x |

It sounds quite Viking but thinking about it Ulf means wolf in old English and i think chill means spring or the source of a river. Caroline |
