I am looking for any info about Cooks? Was it a shoe factory? If not what was it. Does anybody have any ideas, please. Thank you, Sue

An ancestor is reported as living at home and worked at Cooks. I wondered if it was a shoe factory or somewhere in Northampton. It is written on a piece of paper that has been handed down to me!! Might have been about 1900's

Hi, Thank you for you reply. The name that I have is Annie Mantle. I think that she died in Devon. Don't worry about looking for her. Its just that I had the name Cook(s) and thought that it might be assocoated with shoes.
