Nah.. just do it once on your FTM, then export a gedcom to upload to each site :)

Thanks for that girls. So is it worth having a tree on here, tribal pegas & Ancestry &, if so, does every new bit of info have to be added 3 times?Make that 4 times,as I have my tree on FTM CD too!

I have my tree on Ancestry. You can choose whether you have it Publice or Private. If it's private, you can choose who sees it by inviting them. You can't download a gedcom from there though, so don't just update on Ancestry.

hi karen, i have one on ancestry i have had people contact from there about people on my tree its up to you if you want people to see your information you have but i have allowed people to see what i have otherwise to me theres no point also you dont have to pay and all you have to do from genes is upload your gedcom file from genes and it gets sent to your email then go to your files if you do put your tree on ancestry and the file downloads and you have your tree put on straight away instead of putting in one name at a time dont worry your tree is still perfectly alright on genes as for cons i havnt yet come acoss any as yet hope this helps you kind regards kerry ann

Hi everyone, I've received an e-mail from Ancestry inviting me to set up a member tree. Has anyone tried this yet, and if so, what are the pros & cons?
