What did you get from the census and what did you want to find? Irish records were all burnt during the war times well most of them so not much chance of finding about your Irish rellies online, sadly Maybe we can help you? ps: Welcome to The Mad World of Genealogy |

It is worth trying the ancestry free trial. They have all the Welsh census's plus images. You need to remember to cancel your card in good time. Alternatively you can sign up for a month for about £12.00. Anne |

hiya if you look on the first page of Tips you can see this:: You can search for specific words found in the title of threads eg '1901 Census' enter irish or ireland it will bring up lots of help threads, BTW ALL irish records were NOT destroyed, there are some still about, I found this out By GOOGLING, and other people onsite. I hope this helps Julie |

Mary Please don't waste your money by looking at the GR records.............there is only one census for any given year.........1841 through to 1901 are the ones available. All are on Ancestry.........loads of GR members will be only too happy to help you in your search...........just give us a few basic details, and see what responses you get........... Reg |
