Germaine, they usually are very good, its not often that they do this sort of thing. I should think they would need a drink, when you get the likes of me pestering them. Good luck with yours anyway. TED

Marie, hi. yes I emailed them, then phoned them. They were really sorry but its an easy mistake to make especially as both the deaths were the same year, the some qtr and the same ref no. lets hope I dont have to wait another 10 days. TED.

Oh Ted I hope the one I am waiting for is readable that is the whole reason I have sent for it as I can't read the whole of the record in the church reg. Hope they are sober when doing mine :-) Germaine x

hi all, the Xmas spirit is coming early to the ONS in SOUTHPORT. 3 days ago I got a cert which is almost unreadable and today i've received a certificate for somone I dont know, not the same name,nor the same age, a complete stranger. I know where the mistake has been made however, both the one I wanted, and this one, which is the one I dont want, they have the same GRO INDEX and after a couple of bowls of sherry trifle at lunch time, they've gone back to work, feeling great. Still it is near Xmas! TED.
