Gerri, Sorry to hear of your loss. You should check out your local RSPCA or CPL. They have tons of cats needing good homes. You should consider indoor only cat. Get 2 so they can keep each other company. Rose |

So sorry to hear of this, it must have been awfull for you, as a huge lover of cats, ( i have 3) my heart goes out to you. I have a friend who is emigrating to New Zealand, and sadly cannot take her two cats with her.. she has a male Tabby ( about 5 years old) and a tortashell female, ( about 8 years old) both neutered, desparate for new homes, either together or separatly... if you are interested.. Both are great with kids, dogs etc. Em x |

Cats Protection League are always looking for good homes for kittys. We went there 9 months after vowing never to have another cat when our old fella died aged 18. I was so heartbroken I didnt think i could go thro it again, but as time went on I felt able to offer a home to another puss. We got our beautiful Mirabelle there. she was a 9 month old British Shorthair grey with yellow markings , but going around the pens I was so torn with all the cats I wanted them ALL specially when reading the reasons why some had been put up for rehoming, like unwanted gift etc. Hubby saw Mirabelle in the pen for pedigree cats and was taken by her. Shes nearly ten now and a sweetheart, so loving and i cant imagine being without her. Shirley |

There are loads of unwanted cats. Because some people don't want them when they have to be neutered and it gets expensive, they turn to the charities to take them in . Which is very sad for the poor cats. I have 3 myself. Kim |
