Hi there, My gt gt gt gr father James Lile was born 1794/6 in warwickshire, I have found him and his family on 1841 census James Mary ann (wife) James son Joseph son William Son (my gt gt gr father) Julia Amelia Daughther Pheobe ann mason (m-i-l-) I am struggling to find him on 51 census.....althought i do realise he might have died but cant find death either. I have looked for the others....especially amelia cos i thought she might not be married by then as she was born 1835. Cant find her either William i found spelt LYALL I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to how LILE may have been mistranscribed. Heres hoping you can help Ps he was alive in 1843 ....i have wedding cert of william...it doesnt say deceased so i am presuming he was still alive althought i know they didnt always enter deceased. janet
