There`s another good Irish site -if you tell them what you are looking for they will give you an assessment of how long it will take -£12.50 an hour. It is familyulster, Ros

Thanks Teresa! I'm happy with the infomation i got from the marriage cert! but i'm a little dissapointed that i cant use my remaining credits to find something that i want!!! Like you,I will use them up though and see if anything come us!! Thanks!! Alison.

Hi you can only look at the records for a ONE name database. If the father had the same name as the son then you'll be able to download a certificate you think MAY be right. I've used ancestryireland and always download all FIVE certificates even though they haven't in the end been mine just so that I don't feel as if I wasted credits which unfortunately with that website you inevitably do!! Hello Jen, Thanks for that! Yes it was worth it i suppose to get the details that i got from the marriage cert i looked at!! i had been after them for sometime! I have 4 credits left now in the marriage section! but on the dropdown menu, it just has my ancestors name and says marriage, so if i wanted to look up his parents marriage how wou;ld i go about that? Hi Alison I just purchased £6 of records the other day. They will give you 5 look-ups in that section for example, marriages. If you want to look in another section, for example, births, you will have to pay another £6 and that will give you another five look-ups in that particular section. It seems a bit pricey. However I was pleased to pay it to get my grandparents marriage record complete with father's names. If you need documents from the GRO Northern Ireland, phone them up and if you just want the details of the certificate, and not the actual certificate, ask them for a search, which is only £5.50. You get all the details which are on the cert. except on deaths it does not give the cause. Much cheaper than £11. I just found that out yesterday. Regards Jen

hello, i have just purchased some credits on this page! and i have got a marriage which i was looking for, but now i want to search a birth, but when i do it is asking me to add to basket, but i have credit left but i cant see how to access the record!! can anyone help?? Alison
