How to find maiden names?

My GGG Grandparents were Thomas Ellis born 1799 in Worthen Shropshire and Sophia born 1800 in Cressage Shropshire. I have been trying for sometime to find Sophia's maiden name. They had two daughters Jane 1834 and Elizabeth 1837 both born in cressage.. Sent for a birth cert for Elizabeth and it was the wrong one ! I have seached Shropshire parish records on Ancestry with no luck Any Suggestions what to try next? Thankyou Christine |

the two daughters are on there too with their baptism dates www.familysearch.org click on International Genealogical Index then put names of daughters Jeanette |

Thanks again Jeanette, I think this website will keep me busy for quite sometime now and help me complete a lot of missing names and dates on my tree. |
