I seem to remember a thread about this a few weeks ago. I thought I saved the link but I can't find it anywhere. It was a site other than Ancestry. Not all the census records were complete, especially the 1930. Does anyone remember? Rose

I remember it Rose, i think. The one where you went on to a message board then followed the information from there to a Vermont library website? If you do a search with the word 'free' it should come up. I got onto it once but after that it wouldnt let me back on I'll see if i can bump the message back up to the top for you Mhairi

Thanks Mhairi and Judith. It was the Rutland Library. http://www.rutlandfree.org/for_research_adults.html You had to right click on The Heritage Quest link. I remember now. Thanks, Rose

Ancestry did 3 free days access to the world deluxe collection at the beining of the month, the offer was available for 3 days and your access fran for 3 days from the day you applied fo it. They did have a system overload about 24 hours in but that was to be expected. They are doing it again but this time they have been emailing subscribers and by changing the price of the collection to 'Special Pricing' - again it is 3 free days access.

Thanks Judy. Lunar, I took advantage of that free trial earlier this month but I haven't received the latest email. How do I get the free 3 days running at the moment? Rose

Tried this last night and it worked for me first time - have since managed to track down some deaths in Canada and I believe a couple of rellies on the US Censi of 1920 and 1930. Just need to do a bit more research before my 3 days are up.
