Looked but cannot find either of them. The only Alfred Dumbrell I could find was aged 37(a bricklayer) and living at 74 Ellen St.Hove with wife, Jane and several children including a young Alfred. Sorry! |

Thanks Jess and Jim - you're brilliant. I cannot understand how you can solve mysteries so quickly! You obviously have the Genealogy Genie working with you! Thanks again - I'm very grateful. regards, Chris |

Sorry Chris - but have to say this - quite a few of us belong to more than one board - I think its only fair to publish your request on one board, and then if no response put it on another - by the time Jess posted on here the info had already been found on another site for you. As I have said to you I have no problems doing lookups - but would have been slightly annoyed if I had spent my time looking this up - only to find Jess had already found it for you. |

I've tried on Ancestry but can't seem to find it so I would welcome a fresh pair of eyes - this family is driving me to distraction and I may scream VERY loudly soon!!! I am looking for the family of Alfred (born 1851) and Elizabeth (born 1852) DUMBRELL. In 1881 they were living at Claremont Street, Brighton. I'd be very grateful if anyone has the time to help. Very many thanks. Chris |
