I believe the 1901 census through GR is the same as on National Archives BUT the transcription can be different on Ancestry. Maureen

Thanks all I just can't work out why I can't find them through the GR 1901 census, and it#s just cost me almost 50 credits trying! So frustrating, thanks for all your help Laura

The family has been spelt as Toukin on GR and National Archives 1901 census. I just put in Alfred born 1859 Illogan and got the result. Sometimes less information in the search boxes produces the best results. Maureen

argh, i didn't even think of a mistranscribed name! Will definitely consider that before spending credits in the future! Thank you! Laura
