Just checked -it was renewed on 26th June automatically so, it definitely isn't me. I just hope that they get back to me soon and sort it out. Jackie |

Hmm...does seem a bit odd. If you click into the My Account feature, as mentioned before, and then click on More Info, it should tell you when your current subscription expires. Is yours quarterly? If so, it could just be that the 3 months has gone quicker than it seems. I know that I've often thought mine wasn't due for renewal when, in fact, it was (just that time flies when you're engrossed in research LOL). But they do usually email to advise when it's about to expire. Also, is yours set to renew automatically? I always renew manually just in case my card/bank details change between subscription/renewal dates. Not sure what else to suggest really. If you've checked every possibility I guess it is a fault at their end and you will have to keep on at them till you get a response. Good luck! |

Hi Jackie Have you recently had a renewal of your subscription? Could it be as someone else suggested that there was a problem with the renewal process? Athena |

I've been subscribed for 3 years now to ancestry UK and haven't had any problems before except for the usual blip when they're maintaining the site. It has always come back on. This time, it recognises my user name and emailaddress but says I am not subscribed....I AM!!! It even tells me where I have searched. Grrrr! Getting very frustrated!! Jackie |

I had a problem a month or so back. It was one month after my renewal - they'd said they were taking the money out of my account. Couldn't get in for a few days. Found out that they had tried taking the money but sometime during the last year my card number had completely changed and I did not make the connection so did not twig immediately. They did not write to say 'we can't take the money out of your account' it just expired. Sorted it eventually but check when your subscription is due and check your bank statement. Jill |

Jackie I'm not having that problem myself but I wonder if it's anything to do with you being in the wrong Ancestry website - e.g. if you subscribed from the Ancestry US site and try viewing census pages on the UK site it will probably come up with the subscription page - and vice versa. I have heard of some people who accidentally joined the US site instead of the UK site and had problems like that. Might be worthwhile checking the 'My Account' feature on the top of the front page in Ancestry to make sure you're subscribed to the correct one. Other than that it could just be that Ancestry was experience a bit of a funny blip temporarily. |

There might be a problem. It is saying that my email address isn't registered with them, when it is. |

Is it just me or is there a problem? Every time I try to go to a page, I am bombarded with ads telling me to subscribe. I already do and am a paid up member. I have emailed them but no response. I have tried logging out and relogging in but it makes no difference. Jackie |
