Usually if the date is far enough back on familysearch (LDS) site you can do a parental search by just filling in fathers name and mothers first name. Sheila

HI Sandra, There are various ways of finding children of a couple, but to find a total number with confidence is difficult and time confuming, I have found childrens baptisms/burials on Parish Registers that have not been registered for birth or death, so certificates are not the only way. Census information can be useful as a finding aid as well. What years are you looking for? Registration was not made compulsory until 1875, prior to that it was the registrars job to find the events that required recording, and if they were not told they may not have known! Keith

Is possible anywhere to find out how many children, a person had without looking at each birth certificate, as I can not find some???.
