I've checked 1881 and 1901 so I'd be really grateful if anyone has the time - and energy - to look this up for me! I'm looking for the family of JOHN DELANEY born about 1877 in Ireland. Father Richard, deceased by 1899 Also the family of ELIZABETH O'BRIEN born about 1882 in Ireland. Father Peter O'Brien. Both living in Maesteg, Bridgend, Glamorgan. REALLY appreciate any help. Thank you so much for that - that's def. the right couple! They're not on the 1881 so I'd like to find out if they're on the 1891 to establish when they left Ireland - can't find anything at all there!!! There are days I wish I'd never started this......... As the eldest child war born in Ireland and the youngest in Wales, I would think they left Ireland between the two births - can't find them on the 1891

Hi No I cannot see them in 1891 in England or Wales either. As regards Peter O'brien I have him and wife Ellen on the 1901 in Wales (If that is the right family), and the youngest child aged 5 is born in Ireland. So looks like Peter left Ireland between 1895/6 and Elizabeth getting married. - hope that makes sense!!!! Regards Gail
