Anyone have any ? Trying to find out more about the Osbornes in Warwickshire about 1890`s . Ros

Hi Rosalyn I don't know if this is your Thomas Osborne as he is a Jockey not a horse trainer.- from the National Horse Racing Museum site. http://www.horseracinghistory(.)co.uk/hrho/action/viewDocument?id=1055 Just a small mention about Osborne, Thomas (1853 - 1920) Jockey (J) I know you were interested in horse trainer and not Jockey, but thought it may be of interest. Out of interest, I saw that chap but on one entry on google it said, 'not connected to the famous trainers, the Yorkshire Osbornes' Your lot werent from Yorkshire, were they?

Sorry thought she had put Warwickshire, There are pictures of the Yorkshire Osbornes (the famous trainers and owners) on that site, so still be worth a look. Regards Gail

He was from Warwickshire but travelled a lot -children born in France, Hungary and England. I think my ggm worked as a servant for him in 1891 , but she was in Ireland in 1895 working in a large house,and he was in England by 1901 census---MYSTERY, Ros

Clayton My cousin Tony Clayton was a jockey in the uk then went to Sweden, on returning to the uk,worked for Henry Candy. So Im told! Any one out there who can confirm or point me in the right direction? Cheers Frankie
