Who are the owners of the house in 1901 census? Anthony Eden was born in 1897 at Bishop Auckland (I think). Jay |

i have found them on 1901 census They are in Crosby Old Lodge Thornton le beans, Northallerton where my nanna was born later in 1904... Their names are Thomas W SNAITH 1870 and his wife Elizabeth CATTERSON 1873 ...both born in Stockton .. I have found both of their parents but would love to find out more about where they worked .. |

i am tracing my family tree and wrote to my Great uncle about his grandparents and received a letter back and I was hoping someone might know where to start ... 'both in service at either Anthony Edens' (primeminster) or Dormans Estate ( Dormans Long Steel fame) in North east' now I know their names through my nan's BC but dont know where to begin with this HELP PLEASE :) |
