So sorry Roger, I hadn't realised. No rudeness intended! I can't remember which thread that was and hadn't needed to use that method myself at the time as I still had the old tree bookmarked in my favourites already. For some reason the new tree originally did have the 'Old tree' link on that bar, then a few days later it disappeared, then returned again. That is why it is a good idea to add it to the favourites (in case the link is removed from the new tree again). The issue resurfaced for me yesterday when 5 new contacts emailed and were having difficulties viewing my tree in the new program. I couldn't find the original thread to refer them to, so decided to write out a 'How to view the Old Tree' for my new contacts. I posted it here in case it would help others too. That is how the Go button fix came to be posted at the same time.

I would have liked thanks for telling you Tracey how to do this on your other thread.

Go to the bar at the top of the page of the New Tree page. It shows Change View, search, Feedback, Old Tree, Help. Click on Old Tree and it will then open. While in the Old Tree, you will be able to access shared trees and they will also open in the Old Tree format. If you want to access the Old Tree directly in future, without having to go through the New Tree, simply right click on the Old Tree page and select 'Add to Favourites'. This will bring up the name 'Family Tree Builder', which you click OK. Next time, all you need do is click on the 'Family Tree Builder' link in your Favourites!
