hi i went to school with a cassar , they lived next to me when i was a child , her dad was from malta if thats any help lorraine

I have Cassar in my tree and they came from Malta. I've just gone through the birth indexes for Birchmore from 1947-1956 and there are no children born to a Birchmore with the Mum's maiden name as Cassar. Are you sure of the surnames?

Hi to anyone that can help. I am searching for my family tree which started as homework for my daughter and has now became an obsession for me lol. My mother inlaw is a Cassar she came over to England around 1947 ish after getting wed to my husbands father. Who was then an english solider her name was Mary Cassar and she married John Birchmore i am not sure of the year in which they got married but they settled in England and had 8 children one of which is my husband. I know that her father was called Emanuel and her mother Jane maiden name Said her grandmother on her mothers side was called Mary ann Concetta, This is all the information i could find. If any one could help me any further i would be very grateful.
