Hi, Can anyone tell me if there were any wars between 1891 and 1901 . I have a Frank Hodkinson, (or Mullineux ) who I haven`t been able to find in a census or in the deaths between these dates, so I`m trying other avenues now. Thanks, Jay.

I think the Boer War may have taken place in those dates - I'll Just go find out from en.wikipedia.org Second Boer War was fought from 11 October 1899 until 31 May 1902.

They were mainly volunteers - have had a look and no Frank Hodkinson or Mullineus; there is a Francis Hodgkiss, only gives regiment, no other info I'm afraid

Hi, Thanks for the census info. I already had the 1881, but couldn`t get him on the 1891 or the 1901. I`ll have another look for the 1891, but as he`s not on the Boer War site or the 1901 census I`m not sure where to look now. Any ideas ? Jay
