Hi Sue I live in Norfolk but had never heard of Helions Bumpstead. I now find it's close to Haverhill in Essex and next door to Steeple Bumpstead. Thanks for that. Jo.

Hi Suzanne, Bumpsted sounds good. Do you know where it is because Multimap couldn't find it. Jo

Has anyone heard of Beanpstead in Essex? It seems a highly unlikely name and I can't find anything like it in my road atlas. This is the transcribers thoughts for an entry for James Deacon on image HO107 193 folio 1048 page 33 Jo
