The only thing you can get is an electoral role record, but that would only tell you those of voting age. Anyone under 21 wouldn't show up. You would need to get that from the local records office. Someone may be able to help you with that, but I'm not sure.

Hi Mary, the best way is to look at the electoral rolls for that address although it will only give names of those eligable to vote. No under age like children for example. The local council will have these records and would search for you for a fee, or maybe someone who lives nearby could look for you for free. Sorry I dont know who the local council for that area is. Regards Sylvia.

The electoral rolls at the main library closest to that area. There are some strange rules about it so they wont give info over the phone I believe. You need someone in the area to go and look it up for you. Try asking on the Records Board. I live in South London myself but I couldn't do it for a few weeks, but I would be quite happy to help if you perhaps did the ground work and found out the actual library which held the records. It would only cover those elible to vote of course, not children. Jackie

Mary It is the London Borough of Merton and the e mail for enquiries is library.enquiries(at)merton(dot)gov(dot)uk It might be worth asking what their policy is about info. They might at least tell you if she was living alone or with others, without being able to name them. Hope that makes sense. Jackie
