Hi. I am looking for any information that I can find on my paternal grandparents family. They are mostly from Northamptonshire England. Family names are Fisher (my paternal grandfather) Sturgess, Hillyard, CHerrry and Battams. All I can share is that my grandfathers name was Harry and my grandmother was Harriet. Harry was a Policeman who apparantly was assigned to Notting Hill Police Station and I believe this is where he died. Harriett returned with her three children William Charles Ernest (my father) Jack and Polly and settled in Wellingborough Northants where she met and married Bill Ear. Several of our Hillyard family members lived in BLisworth Northants. I gather that one of the Sturgesses was a dentist in Northampton and one of the Cherry's was also a Policman who was assigned to the Earls Barton Police Station. HELP anyone.

Researching:
Thomas, James, Morgan, Jenkins. Places of interest are Porth/Ferndale, Llangynwyd, Maesteg.
