Google search 'Family History Societies' and the whole lot for the country will come up. Then choose the one you want. There are sometimes more than one for a county and one may be better for you than others. Janet |

Jennifer, Many Thanks, I often use Staffordshire BMD for record searching. What I need now is a more general forum, where people know the Newcastle area. Just wish I had been interested in family history when I lived there. Anne in North London |

The majority of my family history research is based on members who lived in Newcastle-under-Lyme. Can anyone recommend which 'Family History Society' group I join. I have googled but many seem to be for the wrong area or out of date. Many Thanks Anne in North London |
