Is this the right place for me to be posting to? I am coming back to tracing my family after quite a time ago and I have forgotten most of what I did before, but a lady helped me track down my granddfather's brother before - he was Charles Thomas Clark born 18th March 1897 and he went to South Africa - he died there 18th March 1973. My Granddfather who is 97 and still living (with me!) would love to know about his brother and his family before he 'pops' off. I have an address of where it says he was resident during the 12 months prior to his death it says Berea Road Masonic Temple, Durban, place of death St. Augustine's Hospital. His surviving spouse was/is Euphemia Clark born Falconer. What advise would you give me to get in touch with the family - how would I trace them now - and why do you think he was at the Masonic Temple - what on earth is that! Annie - oh and they were married in Durban on 27th December 1919. |
