Thanks Pauline, South Stoneham numbers start with 137 and there are no North Stoneham ones listed - unless they are in the assorted ones which doesn't help lol! Janice

Regarding Southampton - there were two districts South Stoneham and North Stoneham - so maybe if you came across either of these two names you may have thought it was somewhere else. Worth another look. Happy hunting Pauline

Janice This is a problem I have come across too - isn't it irritating! I don't know why the IGI did not put the name of the church in the transcribed entries. You can narrow down the options by going to the Library Catalogue tab on the LDS home page. Put in the place name, and a list of churches (and other things) will come up. Hopefully, there won't be too many. If you click on each in turn, you may strike lucky with the batch number.Long winded, but it has worked for me. Good luck. OC

I have a batch number from the IGI of C135579 and I have tried to find the church using the Hugh Wallis site but I'm not having any luck. All I know is that it is in Southampton somewhere. Does anyone know if there is anywhere else I can look to find which church has this batch number? Thanks, Janice
