Does anyone know where I go to obtain RAF records. I have the rank and profession on a marriage certificate dated 1928. They were in for long service not just call up. Do I have enough info? Any help or sugestions will be appreciated. Margaret |

Found by googling:- RAF and WAAF As for the Army and Navy, you can only access records about yourself or your next of kin, and a search fee may be charged. PMA IM1b(RAF) Room 5 Building 248A RAF Personnel Management Agency RAF Innsworth Gloucester GL3 1EZ Kath. x |

Technically the records are only available to the individual, their widow or next of kin. You have to supply a death cert if the person is deceased and sign a declaration to say you are next of kin. The fee is payable in advance but if no records can be found then the fee is non refundable. |
