emigrants coming home

Could anyone advise on how I can find out when people who emigrated came home? |

Someone helped me some time ago (Soooo sorry, I can't remember who it was!) find my people when they emigrated. They were Frederick Foster and Millicent Morris on the Sardinia arriving New York 1851. I don't know if they were acquainted at the time but they were (!) by 1854 as they had a daugher Mary born Galen, NY State. I should like to know when they came home as they had twins in Colsterworth Lincs in 1858 and the family remained in Lincolshire from then on. Hi Rose. I don't know about people returning to the UK (I have a hard enough time trying to find mine going to Canada) :), but I've used this site in the past: http://www.cyndislist*com/england.htm (replace * with .) for guidance. Hope it helps. |
