Good Eaveing all hope you are all ok Not had a good day I have been researching all day and yes you have got it, getting nowhere. I am not having much look I think it must be me I am not very good on the computer yet. I must sound stupid I am not honestly its just I have beengoing round in circles. My head is swimming, Ireland is so very difficult, I am so fed up just dont know what to do next? Tack care its Lynne having a bad day sorry |

. Are you in Ireland ? Think that most of us have Irish rellies somewhere along the line and we probably just shelve it for the time being. If you are not in Ireland then there must be other lines that you can work on. |

Lynn, are all those you are looking for Irish - that is really a hard job. If you have any we could help trace on the English/Welsh census, just put the details on here. |

I think everyone on here can sympathise as I'm sure that feeling of not getting anywhere is a common one! I know I've wanted to give up before now, several times. I had a break for about six months and found my enthusiasm was renewed when I returned to the researching. I have relatives who came from Ireland in the 1840s, and other than a brief survey of the records online, I've not made any serious attempt to trace them. Not yet at least. It's always worth perservering though. Maybe you could take a break and come back to it at a later date. It's frustrating though when you look through hundreds and hundreds of records and don't make any progress. All it takes is one lucky break and you can take a big step forward :-) Good luck Richard |
