If there's a letter on its way then it means they cant find the other two for some reason . they may be asking for more info or advising you that a partial refund is being sent cos they cant find them |

As everyone on here knows I am struggling with my grandfathers side of the family (Collins/Cosgrove). Last week I found a birth for Elizabeth Cosgrove, which I was glad about because I could finally find out the mothers name. The Collins certificate I ordered I wasnt sure about so didnt really expect to get that one. Today I recieved one of the certificates I ordered but I didnt get either the Collins/Cosgrove. I have had no information as to why this is. I telephoned GRO and they said there is a letter on its way. I have been so excited all week as I thought I would be able to go back another generation on the Cosgroves. I am putting the information I have got on my dads family into a book, that is easier to understand for my dad for christmas. It looks like it is going to be one sided. I am really disappointed. Oh well. Feel better now I have had a moan Jayne |
