I have been asked to find out any information about George William Sykes he died in the first world war he was in The West Yorkhire Reg Prince of Wales he was a second lieutenant he died 25/05/1915 I have been on the war grave site and I have found him on there but I think they have his name wrong with the person below him as he was buried Fleurbaix cemetery in France, I don't have his age as it states unknown he had 4 children so I gues he could be about 28, where do I go to help this lady out please? well the Cwgc record has him listed as Gerald Wolryche Sykes BUT the only birth record for that name comes up as dec 1896 Wakefield 9c 88 But that would make him 19!! so hardly the father of 4.
