Hi all. I have not come across a middle name on any of the documentation that I have. The 1901 census entry for Canterbury does seem the most likely but I can not seem to find a birth index that would match the info.

I have had no trouble with the other names in my tree, but I am trying to find information about my great grandfather Charles Manning. I have his military record 1914-1919 which states he was born 1886 in the parish of Canterbury, his marriage certificate to Mary Ann Hinks Herne Bay 1908 suggests his birth year would be 1888 and his death certificate blean 1945 which suggests 1886 as a year of birth. I also have his childrens birth certificates ranging from 1908 - 1918. Yet I can not seem to find a birth match for him. I know his father was also called Charles Manning and they were both marine store dealers in 1908. Is there anything I can look for between the 1901 census and 1908? Any help would be great.
