Have you tried looking on the 1901 census, to see if that gives his birthplace? If you post the names, including his fathers and his occupation, I will take a look for you. Pen x |

can anyone give me any advice on how to find my grandfather who had a common name without spending a fortune! Have date of death, died in 1936, aged 45. Have his marriage certificate in 1911, aged 21, but after ordering a couple of certs, with wrong person on have decided to rethink how to find him, also know his father's name what I need to try and find out please is where to start, ie in 1890 and the best place to look, he was from Stepney/Bethnal Green as far as I know many thanks |
