Thankyou Sam and Ann, I heard back from a place today and they said my nan was in the trade directories from 1931 -1975 but I do not know for what reason. Margaret |

They are a bit like phone books (without phone numbers). They list all the trades persons for a particular place. Some list private residents as well. Sam x |
