Hi, Not an answer to the question but in the command bar there doesn't seem to be a button for folders now, so I am having to open them from the start menu and wondered if anyone else had noticed this or is it just me that can't find it. Christine in Portugal

If you want to read your mail via ie7 try this I use IE7,on Vista at present. I opened OE went to tools menu, clicked Options, and then clicked the General tab. In the Default Messaging Programs area, clicked Make Default for news or e-mail. I can now use the command mail in the ie browser. Hope this helps

William if your mean there is no icon, rIght click on the command bar (where the tabs are) and 'customise'. The box that appears lets you add the read mail icon. I had to reset it and mess about before it would work and am sure i had already done this so watch that yours doesn't disappear again. Why it isn't there by default or in the tools menu i don't know. They have done a similar thing with firefox, Bob

I suggest you do the following: I haven't downloaded IE7 yet but in IE6 I would fix the problem thus: Go to TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS/PROGRAMMES TAB and make sure Outlook Express is the designated e-mail programme showing there. Cheers, Horatia
