i need help with a few things how can i find out about a building that was in exsistance in york/ripon in 1943 also how do i find info on a railway clerk who worked at york/ripon in 1943 and someone who was in the police force in ripon/york in 1943 thank you lisa |

hi there was a thread on here about someone tracing their relative in police force , they wrote to the relevant headquarters and they sent them details maybe worth a try lorraine |

Hi Lisa, Is the address Ripon, Yorkshire, or are you unsure whether you want the town of Ripon or the city of York? If it is Ripon, you could try e-mailing the library there for info on the building. Ripon was in the North Riding at that time, so if you want to trace up the police lead suggested above, it would be the North Yorkshire Police. Jay |
