Why not give Scottish Family Tree site a whirl. Lots of helpful folk there who actually live in Scotland! http://scotfamtree.11.forumer(.)com/ delete brackets. J

Hi Jill If you know where the gravestone is have you thought about phoning the local Lanark Heritage Centre. They might have a list of inscriptions on file. I have done this a few toimes for the north of Scotland and they have given me exactly what it says on the gravestone Julie

Is there anyone who lives near Glenmavis in Lanarkshire? I come from Airdrie and would like to get information from a cemetery in Glenmavis where my grandparents are buried. The cemetery is the one on Condorrat Road and I know exactly where the grave is. All I need is a nice friendly, helpful person either to take a photo for me or give me the wording on the headstone!!!! I have suddenly realised today that I dont know the details of my grandfathers death and would like to add them to my tree. Jill, from too far away in Sussex.
