I need to buy a birthcert of someone born in Scotland after 1905. I have purchased credits on Scotlands People!!! do I have to write to them???

Hi Use the link below for information. You will need to apply to them direct, as you cant view online on scotlandspeople or anywhere else a Scottish birth certificate less than 100 years old, a marriage certificate less than 75 years old or a death certificate less than 50 years old. http://www.gro-scotland.gov.uk/famrec/bdm.html

Hi Where do you stay? You can access the GROS records, to date, at the Glasgow Genealogy Centre and also, I understand, at the Dundee equivalent. Denis.
