Magna Carter who were the 25 barons?

Hi just wondering if any kind sole could help me.I am trying to find the 25 Barons names who sighned the Magna Carter with king John.i have looked at many web sites but none seem to list the names of the Barons any tips or advice would be really appreciated! thank you Jayne. |

Strange but it is one the things that you learn during history lessons at school and have never heard the names of the Barons mentioned. I presume you mean Magna Carta Maureen |

We are very priviliged here in the beautiful city of Lincoln to have a copy of the Magna Carta here in our castle on display. It's a great exhibition. My friends from the states were most impressed when they visited. |

Thank you very much really appreciated.The reason i wanted to know is Burkes Commoners of Great Britain and Ireland says of the 25 barons who wrenched Magna carta from king John 18 of the barons were direct decendants of the Swinburn family.i have a list of many surnames names connected to the family and i tried very hard to find the baron names but with no luck .thank you all so much i really appreciate all your help.x |
