hi ..i have ernest randolph kimpton b 1906 liverpool married julia fitzsimmons b 1911 liverpool...they married in abt 1929 children i know of ernest randolph kimpton b 1930 liverpool john kimpton b 1940 liverpool ernest randolph kimpton 1906 siblings harry kimpton 1910 killed ww2 1943 george kimpton 1912 killed 1946(military death?) anne kimpton 1920 no further knowledge of no knowledge whatsoever of julia fitzsimmons parents except julia was born in liverpool.....any tips on finding any of their families??....regards...allan

Hi Allan Not sure where you got Liverpool from? Seems to be a red herrin. Did they perhaps move there soon after marriage? Here is what looks like their marriage. thanks girls...bit confused....are you saying that julia wasn`t born in liverpool in 1911...but there is a julia fitzsimmons born in 1909 wigan?? i was led to believe that someone had sent info as to 1906(ernest) and 1911(julia) births liverpool ...married in liverpool abt 1928/9 as their eldest son ernest randolph kimpton born 1930 liverpool....obviously i have wrong info here...elly do you have year of their marriage??..in touch with john kimpton..will check his info regarding his mothers year and place of birth....regards..allan

Hi Allen The only birth that can be found for a Julia Fitzsimmons is 1909 Wigan. The marriage entry is on Lancsbmd 1930. Married at St Phillip.You can apply for the marriage certificate or if you live near Liverpool ,you could check the Parish entry yourself at the Library.A copy from them would only cost you 60p. hi linda...just been on rootschat and have been assured that julia fitzsimmons 1911 liverpool appears on gr index along with julia fitzsimons(only one m)1909 wigan...she`s checked on free bmd and juiia fitzimmons 1911 liverpool doesn`t appear there,but does on gr index...regards...allan
