Has anyone had the same problem, Like a lot of people on GR I too had all my tree copied by someone who is too far removed even to be called a distant relation. Knowing this I took note of the membership number so that I could delete it if it came up again in 'Hot Matches'. A few days ago, the same name came up with a different membership number, I emailed GR and they confirmed that this was the same member with a different number, they also go by their original membership number????? (I wonder if I have another membership number) Tox

Tox You can join GR as many times as you like, either as a paying member, or as a non-paying member. Also - if you have a break in your paid membership, then you get a new number when you rejoin - but the old one is still there. Mlutiple membership was one of the causes of the recent upset on GR - people joining, posting (on success) and then deleting their membership. OC

Thank you 'an olde Crone Holden' good explanation, I suppose it looks better when GR sends me a lot of 'HOT MATCHES' even if they are duplicated. Regards Tox
