The two villages are only about 10 miles apart. Do the facts fit with the usual convention of a bride marrying in her home parish?

Thank u clive xxx Ya know if someone lived there and the othewr person lived at Babworth Nottingham they wouldnt marry at St Mary's would they?

Yes, it's on the A57 about 35 miles NE of Nottingham, nowhere near Carlton.

I think its been mistranscribed and should read Carlton (tho i might be wrong) but has anyone ever heard of Darlton Nottingham? Many thanks Angie xxx
