That's worse, I should think. I know personally 4 Jenny Smiths including a niece, 2 Helen Smiths and assorted others. Susan

Don't even bother. The big problem with Hot Matches is that it does not include birthplace in the match criteria, only Name and dob. Just delete (ignore) those that are not relevant

Because they are not matched geographically. Not just Britain, the whole world. Don't contact everyone, just delete them Margaret

I have had some great contacts through Hot Matches. However, why oh why do I have to have Thomas Williams, Elizabeth Brown, William Morris and John Walker in my tree. I am matched up with every person with those names the length and breadth of Britain!! Susan
