I am doing really well with my family tree almost 400 relatives on it however I have come across a problem which is giving me a bit of a headache. Basically I have a brother & sister from one side of my family who married a brother and sister from another family but I can't match them all up to the correct parents. Has anybody else had this problem and how have they solved it so that they don't end up with duplicates as I was busy keying in some information when I realised that I had already done it!!! thanking you in advance Karen

I think what you are saying is that you want to link these two sets of brothers and sisters on your tree. You CANNOT do this if you are using the GR tree program as your primary tree program. It will only allow 2 people to have one relationship. It will not allow cousins to marry. You have to put the people in twice. If you have your primary tree on your own computer using (e.g.) Personal Ancestral File (PAF) from Ancestry (free) or Family Tree Maker (FTM) (currently available at Morrisons and elsewhere for about 6 quid), these programs allow you to link people any way you like. It's also a useful backup to have your tree stored in more than one place. J
