COULD ANYONE ADVISE ME WHERE TO LOOK TO ACCESS PRISONER RECORDS FOR 1899>1900. I NEED TO KNOW 'WHY' MY GREAT GRAND DAD WAS IN PRESTON JAIL ON THE 1901 CENSUS. JIMMY NUTS P.S. Should have mentioned, records for 1899 > 1901 are missing from Lancashire Record Office for Preston Jail, no reason given
