Doris? Dorinda? Any name beginning with DO, I should think. Also a name in its own right. OC

My auntie Doll was Ethel Doris. I think it is frequently Doris. Sue

Just to be awkward, my mother who was Barbara Mary, was only ever known as Dolly from being a baby and very small. Most of her friends didn't know it wasn't her real name. Kath. x

we have both dorothy and doris, on different sides of the fmaily, but recently have found out both known as dolly regards Yvette

My grandad was always known as Dolly, as his surname was Gray! Remember the War tune, Goodbye Dolly Gray
