How do you stop old user names popping up? For example...on ebay when i go to type in my username, it pre-guesses it, by what ive typed in previously. And once i typed it in wrong and it does my head in keep popping up wrong now. Anyone know? Thanks, Deborah |

As soon as it appears, delete it - hopefully, it should not reappear again - D.V.! |

Yes, these old username entries are made by Autocomplete. You can clear these but they will clear current correct entries too, so use with caution. To clear the entries do the following. In Internet Explorer go to: TOOLS/INTERNET OPTIONS/CONTENT TAB /AUTOCOMPLETE/CLEAR FORMS |

Jim, If you follow the same route as I gave before, you will see that there are various options you can tick or remove the tick from. Cheers, Horatia |
